HOW TO PLAY GAMES AT Starz Game Show

STARZ BUZZ QUIZ is a “Fast Hands On The Buzzer” style game similar to Sale Of The Century or Million Dollar Minute with a Jeopardy style board. There are six different categories which may include music, pictures, famous voices, puzzles, current events, sport, movies and hundreds of general subjects. Teams must be first to press their “Big Buzzer” to answer each question. Your answer must be given immediately and within 2 seconds of the host calling your team number. Should you answer incorrectly, or not answer within 2 seconds, you will lose points and the question is then open for all other teams to answer. Upon a buzzer press, the host will STOP reading the question and the screen will disappear. Only press your buzzer if you know the answer as you MUST answer if you buzz-in. If you do not answer or answer incorrectly you will lose points for your team. You can have a NEGATIVE score. PLEASE NOTE: The Buzzers have a LOCKOUT feature, where ALL buzzers are DEACTIVATED upon the first buzz-in and remain deactivated until you hear the “WRONG ANSWER TONE” or when the next question is asked. Pressing your buzzer early will lock your buzzer out longer

Starz FEUD is a simple game where you try to match the answers we received in a survey taken by everyday Aussies. This NOT a trivia style game and is solely based upon answers given in a survey. Each team is given an answer sheet with eight survey rounds to complete. You should write what you think were the top four most popular answers in each survey question. You will have 60 seconds to write your answers for each survey question. After eight rounds are completed the two top scoring teams will play a “Final Feud Round”. Spelling is not important, though answers must be at least phonetically correct. Please note: Specific answers are not the same as general answers. Examples - Mother is not the same answer as parent / Bananas and Strawberry are not the same answer as FRUIT

Starz MULTI is similar to Millionaire, where you will select A,B,C or D on a wireless keypad. All teams must select an answer within approximately 15-20 seconds or will receive a zero score. Points for each question will increase as the game progresses and will be added to your score if a correct answer is given. DO NOT PUSH THE ‘BUZZ’ BUTTON or you will get an incorrect answer. Select only A, B, C or D. Your answer cannot be changed once selected.

Starz Fortune has been adapted from “Wheel Of Fortune”, and is a game where contestants must solve phrases or words on screen. Initially, we play a qualifying round, where the object is to simply solve the phrase shown on the big screen. The screen will display white boxes in which letters will appear at random until someone presses their ‘Big Buzzer’ or until all letters are revealed. You may BUZZ-IN ONLY ONCE and have ONE guess at each screen (phrase). The phrase will disappear upon any buzzer press, so be sure you know the answer. The first three teams to answer two screens correctly will play-off in the ‘Final Fortune Round’. FINAL FORTUNE ROUND In order, each finalist will “spin the wheel” hoping to score points by selecting a correct consonant in the phrase on screen. Should you spin “Bankrupt”, “Lose a Turn” or choose a letter that is NOT in the phrase, the next team takes control of the wheel. To win the game, you MUST solve the phrase ON YOUR TURN, and you must have the MOST POINTS. The GAME SHOW Host will guide you if you are uncertain.
